Hand dyed silk maxi dress with intricate tribal pattern with orange and red tones.
The fabric is said to be most likely about 75-85 percent silk. Silk thread is often mixed with another type of material to add durability.
For reference, the model is 5’3” and about 110lbs. This dress fits the model well, but I think it would be perfect on someone slightly heavier and with a bit more curves.
Measurements are Approximate:
Shoulder to hem: 58”
Pit to hem: 44”
Width across when laying flat and not tied: 22”
Ribbon to hem: 38”
Since this is a wrap the below measurements are difficult to measure since it depends on how tightly the dress is wrapped, however here is a rough estimate:
Shoulder to Shoulder: 15”
Armpit to Armpit: 20”
These dresses should be professionally cleaned only, which is the case with many silk items. It is also very important to note that if these garments are washed with other fabrics the dye will transfer and ruin the other items.
Please keep in mind that because of the nature of these garments being up-cycled from various new and vintage fabrics, these garments are delicate and imperfections are inevitable. The dress’ embroidery is prone to catching and snagging.
We strive to photograph the details, colors and imperfections accurately.
