The cords are woven tightly around a stone or fossil, then finished with a hardening wax to keep the fibers from loosening.
This necklace has an adjustable braided cord that extends up to thirty-two inches. It features dark burgundy-toned cord, small brass beads and a clear Quartz stone. In the photo the stone looks quite purple, however this is mostly due to the colour of the rope casting through the clear stone.
