Collection: Up-Cycled Silk Saree Garments

Each garment is made from up-cycled silk Sarees from India. Each fabric is different and is sourced from either a new, or vintage saree. Because of the nature of up-cycling older fabrics, in addition to the fact that silk is known for being one of the most delicate fabrics, these garments do have imperfections. However if respected for what they are - delicate works of art, and if worn and handled with care, these garments can make a meaningful addition to a well intentioned wardrobe.

Every piece is truly unique. Before the Sarees are sewn into new garments they undergo a dying process similar to tie dying, which results in vibrant and diverse color combinations. Silk sarees also differ in design based on where they come from regionally throughout India. So each fabric has its own uniqueness reflecting its cultural heritage, whether that be a specific type of embroidery, ethnic motif or other embellishments.
