This beautiful jewelry is made just outside of Delhi, in Uttar Pradesh, and I believe most of the stones are sourced from Rajasthan.
This necklace is adjustable and extends to about 32 inches but can be tightened to be worn as a choker.
This jewelry is all handmade, so some imperfections are inevitable. In this type of jewelry making, a special wax is used to keep the cord intact, and prevent fraying. This wax can cause some slight darkening in areas of the cord. So you may notice this especially at the ends of the cord, where it has been tied off, but this is not any type of dirt, it is simply from the wax.
