Super interesting dress possibly created with two different sarees. The first fabric was dyed with very elegant dark greys, purples, greens and blues. If you look closely you will notice there is very small embroidered details in a gold colored thread.
The second fabric came from a Saree with accents of a traditional tribal design, and has been dyed with very bold and vibrant colors.
The Fabric is said to be most likely about 75-85 percent silk. Silk thread is often mixed with another type of material to add durability.
For reference, the model is 5’3” and about 110lbs.
Measurements are Approximate:
Length from where straps are sewn on, to hem: 50”
Pit to Pit/Maximum width across laying flat: 19”
Draw strings directly under breasts to hem: 39”
These dresses should be professionally cleaned only, which is the case with many silk items. It is also very important to note that if these garments are washed with other fabrics the dye will transfer and ruin the other items.
Please keep in mind that because of the nature of these garments being up-cycled from various new and vintage fabrics, these garments are delicate and imperfections are inevitable.
We strive to photograph the details, colors and imperfections accurately.
