It all starts in a colorful, vibrant part of the world called Jaipur India. Jaipur has long been celebrated for its rich textile heritage, especially its centuries-old art of hand block printing. Our lightweight cotton block printed with thoughtfully selected colors and patterns, then sewn into airy, gorgeous dresses with POCKETS!
These fabric is a beautifully lightweight cotton and semi sheer. Some people may prefer to wear a slip underneath.
"Cayenne” is our favorite color way. It is a rich red that falls somewhere between the color of cayenne and chile powder. The base fabric is a medium beige color of natural cotton. The Pattern features an interesting, bohemian floral block-print. One commonly found in the streets of Jaipur.
These dresses are sustainably made in small batches of only 30 at a time. Our limited production approach helps to reduce waste and ensures that every piece is crafted with care.
These dresses are designed with a relaxed, flexible fit that accommodates a variety of body types. Although they’re generally considered free-size, we do offer two sizes which we consider a S/M and a M/L.
The S/M has a waist measurement of approximately 18 inches across, while the M/L measures about 19 inches across the waist. Although the difference is slight, the M/L version includes additional fabric through the hips, bust, and shoulders, providing a roomier overall fit.
For reference, the model is wearing a size S/M. She is approximately 5’3” and weighs 115 lbs, and as shown, the dress still offers a generous, comfortable fit.
