Beautiful hand dyed silk Jumper with large embroidered panel. The fabric is said to be most likely about 75-85 percent silk. Silk thread is often mixed with another type of fabric to add durability.
An important note about this jumper: The fabric this jumper was made from came from an embroidered saree. You can see this beautiful embroidery on the leg of thr jumper. This type of Saree has embroidery which is “exposed” on the back of the sewing, which means the threads on the back are quite loose. If you look at the very last photo closely, you can see what the “exposed” section looks like, which is on the INSIDE of one of the jumpers legs.
This is just important to be aware of because you will need to exercise caution while putting the jumper on, since the threads could easily catch. I do not recommend wearing boots with a zipper or any kind of shoe that could snag the fabric easily as you walk.
For reference, the model is 5’3” and about 110lbs. It fits well, however it would be best on someone taller with a bit more curves 😉

Armpit to Floor Length: 50”
Pit to pit: 18”
Crotch to floor: 25” (although these jumpers fit very loose, and low in this area)
V neck to crotch: 25”
Straps are adjustable
These garments should be professionally cleaned only, which is the case with many silk items. It is also very important to note that if these garments are washed with other fabrics the dye will transfer and ruin the other items.
Please keep in mind that because of the nature of these garments being up-cycled from various new and vintage fabrics, these garments are delicate and imperfections are inevitable.
