This jumper is made from stunning floral silk fabric, hand dyed in almost iridescent tones of blue, purple, and greens. The fabric is said to be most likely about 75-85 percent silk. Silk thread is often mixed with another type of fabric to add durability.
The jumper has been marked down because the fabric is most likely vintage, and very thin and delicate. It has some very fine holes, and repairs on one leg, as seen in the last three photos. However these imperfections are not noticeable unless held up to the light.
All and all this jumper is still beautiful and one of my favorites from the collection.
For reference, the model is 5’3” and about 110lbs. It fits well, however it would be best on someone taller with a bit more curves 😉
Measurements are Approximate:
Armpit to Floor Length: 50”
Pit to pit: 18”
Crotch to floor: 25” (although these jumpers fit very loose, and low in this area)
V neck to crotch: 25”
Straps are adjustable
These garments should be professionally cleaned only, which is the case with many silk items. It is also very important to note that if these garments are washed with other fabrics the dye will transfer and ruin the other items.
Please keep in mind that because of the nature of these garments being up-cycled from various new and vintage fabrics, these garments are delicate and imperfections are inevitable.
